March 22, New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on X that Narendra Modi is now the longest-serving head of government in India.
Rajnath Singh praised PM Modi's "unwavering devotion to the nation and its people," noting his commitment as Chief Minister of Gujarat and his dedicated leadership as Prime Minister.
PM Modi has surpassed the 8,930-day record previously held by former Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling.
