
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the three-day Unnat Krishi Mahotsav at Dashera Maidan in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh today. The festival, which runs from April 11th to 13th, features live demonstrations of modern technologies including drones, solar pumps, and micro irrigation systems. Experts will engage in direct discussions with farmers on 20 topics across four seminar halls, covering subjects ranging from the use of AI in agriculture to integrated farming.
Over 300 exhibitors are participating in the festival, and more than 50,000 farmers are expected to attend. The closing ceremony will be held on April 13th in the presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The national-level festival, organized on the initiative of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, also included Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the Director General of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), along with agricultural scientists from across the country.
