
March 28, New Delhi — A meeting of an informal group of ministers, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, was held on Saturday to assess the potential impact of the ongoing conflict on the country's energy security and supply chains.
Senior ministers reviewed the risks to fuel supplies, the availability of essential commodities, and the resilience of critical infrastructure. The meeting also focused on ensuring the robustness of India's logistics and supply networks amid growing global uncertainties.
The government held detailed discussions on contingency measures, signalling a proactive approach to safeguard economic stability and minimize disruptions within the country.
