As part of an effort to promote sports and engage the younger generation, the Indian Army successfully organized an Inter-Club Volleyball Tournament in Rajouri as a lead-up to the Rajouri Day 2026 celebrations under Operation Sadbhavana.

The tournament featured enthusiastic participation from eight men's teams, who competed in intense knockout matches, followed by semi-finals and a thrilling final. In addition, two women's teams played an energetic final match, reflecting the growing participation and empowerment of women in sports.

The event served as a platform to foster discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the youth, while also encouraging a healthy and competitive spirit. It highlighted the Indian Army's continued commitment to nation-building and youth empowerment through constructive initiatives.

The tournament not only promoted a vibrant sporting culture but also brought the community together, showcasing the immense potential of young talent in the region.
