Rajouri Revenue Department Aims for Timely Mutation Disposal and Grievance Resolution

RAJOURI, MARCH 26: Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, chaired a meeting to review the status of grievance collection and correction of errors identified during the Digitized Jamabandi Reading Camps, including both quasi-judicial and non-quasi-judicial instances, as well as to take stock of the digitization of backlogged mutations across the district.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the revenue officers to identify all categories of backlogged mutations and set village-specific targets for their disposal. He emphasized strict adherence to prescribed guidelines while processing such cases and instructed that the entire exercise be completed within a stipulated time-frame.

The DC stressed the importance of completing all pending tasks within a specified timeframe and called for expediting the correction of errors in Jamabandi records collected during the camps. He further directed officers to ensure prompt and effective redressal of grievances to provide timely relief to the public.

Reviewing the status of registrations on the JK Samadhan portal, the Deputy Commissioner instructed officers to enhance the registration of grievances and ensure their speedy disposal through the platform.

ADC Kotranka Dilmir Choudhary, ADC Chander Prakash; ACR Mohammad Jahangir Khan; SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain, along with Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars, and Patwaris, attended the meeting.
