New Delhi, March 25 President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday extended greetings to citizens on the eve of Ram Navami and urged everyone to embrace the teachings of the great story of Lord Ram and pledge to serve the nation with their thoughts, words, and actions.
She said that this festival marks the birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Ram.
The epic life journey of Bhagwan Shri Ram guides us to follow the path of truth, justice, and virtue for a meaningful life, Murmu said.
The life of Bhagwan Shri Ram motivates us to fulfill our duties towards society, she said.
"The ideals of Bhagwan Shri Ram are the foundation of our culture, and we should strive to live by them. On this occasion, let us embrace the teachings of the great story of Bhagwan Shri Ram and pledge to serve the nation with our thoughts, words, and actions," the president said.
Murmu extended greetings to all fellow citizens and all Indians living abroad on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.
