Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country today. This festival marks the end of the month of Ramadan.

On this occasion, people will offer prayers at Eidgahs and mosques while wearing traditional attire. They will also exchange greetings and visit relatives and friends, sharing sweets and well wishes.

In Delhi, the main Eid gatherings will be held at Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri Masjid, and Shahi Eidgah. Special security arrangements have been made for the event.

President Droupadi Murmu has extended greetings to the people on Eid-ul-Fitr. In her message, the President said that the festival promotes self-control, charity, and compassion for the less fortunate. It also emphasizes love, brotherhood, peace, and mutual harmony. She added that Eid reminds us to strive for the well-being of everyone.

President Murmu further stated that on this occasion, we should resolve to help those in need, promote unity and harmony in society, and contribute to the progress of the nation.
