RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 16: The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) in Ramban organized an Orientation-cum-Training Programme for YUVA Ambassadors at the Conference Hall in Ramban.

Joint Director of Employment, Jammu, Paramjeet Singh, emphasized the need to increase applications under self-employment schemes, especially in Panchayats with low registration numbers. He stressed the importance of coordination with banks for timely disbursement, regular follow-up of pending cases, accountability, and achieving saturation at the grassroots level.

Assistant Director of Employment, Ramban, Amit Kumar, outlined the objectives of the YUVA Doot initiative. The training was conducted in four phases, covering roles and responsibilities, beneficiary mobilization, post-sanction tracking, outreach strategies, and digital initiatives, including ONDC and Employment Mission platforms, to enhance livelihood opportunities.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks and a commitment to strengthen self-employment prospects across the district.
