Mumbai, March 20 Actress Rashmika Mandanna's mother-in-law, Madhavi Deverakonda, Vijay Deverakonda's mother, was seen proudly displaying her "Gaddar Telangana Film Awards".
Rashmika received the 'Best Actress' award for her outstanding performance in "The Girlfriend".
She shared a couple of photos with the award on social media to commemorate the occasion. In one of the photos, her mother-in-law was seen proudly displaying the award while Rashmika sat beside her, looking slightly embarrassed.
Madhavi Deverakonda also accompanied Rashmika as she received the award. Moreover, she was seen cheering for her as the 'Pushpa' actress delivered her speech.
Expressing her gratitude upon receiving the honor, Rashmika wrote on the photo-sharing app, "When I was young and someone had become a state-level winner, I would look at them as superstars. I would wonder how they achieved so much, what they did every day, and so on. Last evening, receiving a state award was extremely special to me. I don't think I can put these feelings into words, but I feel like I've come a long, long way! I felt a sense of pride, happiness, and satisfaction."
The 'Animal' actress also added, "This year has started on such a BEAUTIFUL note, and being welcomed into Telangana with a state award is even more special! @tgfaoffl THANKYOU!#SriKalaSudhaTeluguAssociation Thankyou andi.. extremely grateful for this!"
Thanking the director of "The Girlfriend", Rashmika wrote, "@rahulr_23 THANKYOU FOR MAKING The Girlfriend the way it is and what it is! I keep saying.. this is just the start!"
She also showered love on her co-stars, "@dheekshithshettyofficial, @anuemmanuel I love you guys!"
After keeping her fans waiting for a long time, Rashmika and Vijay finally tied the knot on February 26 in a grand ceremony in Udaipur.
