Re-polling Held at Babyland High School in Assam.webp

In Assam, re-polling at Polling Station No. 239, Babyland High English School, under the North Karimganj Assembly Constituency in the Sribhumi District, was conducted peacefully today, in accordance with the Election Commission's directives. A voter turnout of 61.67% was recorded by 5 PM.

There was enthusiastic participation, with voters queuing up since the morning. The polling was conducted under the supervision of District Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, and senior police officials oversaw the process throughout the day.

The polling concluded smoothly under tight security arrangements. The general elections to the Assam Legislative Assembly were conducted in a single phase on April 9 across all 126 Assembly constituencies.
