REASI, MARCH 02: The District Development Commissioner of Reasi, Kumar Abhishek, chaired a review meeting to assess the functioning of the Labour and Employment Department.
The meeting evaluated the implementation of key schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan (PMSYM), E-Shram registration, online services, and IEC activities. The DDC directed officials to expand labour welfare schemes and emphasized strict enforcement of the Child Labour Act and the Juvenile Justice Act through the already constituted district task force.
Reviewing the Employment and Counselling Centre, he assessed progress under Mission Yuva initiatives such as Tejaswini and Mumkin, and called for wider publicity of MSME and nano-project opportunities. He also instructed field staff to provide complete support to beneficiaries to ensure effective implementation and maximum benefit for the district's youth.
Senior officers, including ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal and CPO Narinder Kumar, attended the meeting.
