New Delhi, February 24 RedBird Airways stated on Tuesday that there were no defects with the aircraft that crashed in Jharkhand, and the pilots who operated the flight were experienced.

A day after the crash of the Beechcraft C90 aircraft, VT-AJV, which was operating as an air ambulance and resulted in the deaths of seven people, the investigative agency, AAIB, visited RedBird Airways' registered office in the national capital and collected cartons of documents.

The aircraft, en route from Ranchi to Delhi, crashed shortly after takeoff. There were five passengers and two crew members on board.

"We are also deeply saddened. The families are in shock, and we ourselves are still in shock as to what has happened, because we had gone to save someone's life," said RedBird Airways Chief of Flight Safety, Captain Mohindar Kaur, to the media, including
