
Chandrapur, March 14 Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that the rising heat in the coming days, with the onset of summer, could increase the demand for coal, but the government is prepared to handle the situation.
He said that coal companies are achieving increased production, and the government is constantly communicating with them as part of efforts to meet any rise in demand.
"We produce all the coal we need domestically. With the rising heat, the demand for coal could increase further, but we are ready to meet that demand. Demand for coal increases during the summer. Similarly, during the winter, increased use of heaters boosts electricity needs, particularly in hilly areas where power demand spikes sharply," he told
