March 13, New Delhi – Addressing an inter-ministerial briefing on the ongoing West Asia conflict, government officials stated that Indian refineries are currently operating at 100 per cent capacity or higher.

Officials stated that refineries have adequate inventories of crude oil and supplies are being consistently maintained.

They also urged the public not to resort to panic buying of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders, assuring that the supply situation remains stable.

Meanwhile, the Shipping Ministry informed that three Indian-flagged vessels are currently in the region.

The government is maintaining continuous contact with them through their respective engagement agencies.
