New Delhi, March 20 Actor Babil Khan shared throwback pictures on social media as he remembered his late father, the renowned actor Irrfan Khan.
Irrfan, known for his acclaimed performances in films such as "Slumdog Millionaire", "The Lunchbox", and "Hindi Medium", died in Mumbai on April 29 at the age of 53. The late actor had been battling a rare neuroendocrine tumor since 2018.
Babil posted pictures from his childhood on his Instagram account, which featured him alongside the late actor. In the caption, he wrote, "To begin again, remembering you. With my feet firmly planted in my roots."
Babil, who followed in his father's footsteps to become an actor, made his debut in 2022 with the Netflix psychological drama "Qala", which also starred Triptii Dimri.
He often shares unseen photos with Irrfan on social media.
Besides his notable work in Hindi cinema, Irrfan also appeared in Hollywood projects, including "The Warrior", "Life of Pi", and "Jurassic World", among others.
