New Delhi, March 25 The Burmese specialty restaurant chain, Burma Burma, announced on Wednesday that it had raised over ₹38 crore in a private funding round, valuing the company at approximately ₹500 crore.

The fresh capital will be used to support expansion into new cities and strengthen its presence in existing markets, as the brand aims to capitalize on the growing consumer demand for differentiated dining experiences in India.

The funding round saw participation from existing investor Negen Capital, along with new investors Endurance Capital and Coheron Wealth.

Founded in 2012, Burma Burma operates 21 restaurants across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh.

Commenting on the development, Co-Founders Chirag Chhajer and Ankit Gupta said, "This fundraising allows us to accelerate expansion in a measured way while strengthening our presence in markets where the brand has already demonstrated strong traction."
