Hon'ble Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, concluded her two-day visit to the Rajouri district today.
On the final day of her visit, she inaugurated a conference hall near Jama Masjid Rajouri and also chaired a review meeting with district officers. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, along with officials from the Waqf Board and the district administration.
After inaugurating the facility, Dr. Andrabi stated that the conference hall was a long-standing demand of the people of Rajouri and its completion would greatly benefit the local community.
During the review meeting with district officers, she also reviewed the preparations for Eid and directed the officials to ensure that people do not face any shortage of essential facilities during the holy month of Ramadan.
