
Jaipur, March 12 Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma chaired a meeting on Thursday to review the implementation of centrally-funded schemes.
He directed officials to ensure continuous monitoring of these programmes to ensure that financial progress remains on track and benefits reach intended recipients without delay.
The chief minister said that funds allocated under these schemes should be fully utilized within the stipulated timeframe. He noted that such discipline is essential to ensure the uninterrupted release of central assistance to the state.
Describing these schemes as key tools for the comprehensive development of Rajasthan, Sharma said they are crucial for the welfare of women, youth, farmers, and workers. "Timely use of funds ensures that benefits reach the last person in the line," he said.
During the meeting, Sharma instructed department heads to closely monitor the progress of scheme implementation, fund utilization, and beneficiary outreach.
Officials briefed the chief minister on the progress of various programmes across key sectors, including the National Health Mission, Medical Education, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, School Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Social Justice and Empowerment, Local Self Government, and Integrated Child Development Services.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary V Srinivas, along with additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries, and senior officials from various departments.
