Pichukalanka (Andhra Pradesh), April 4 Three students drowned in the Godavari River in the Konaseema district on Saturday, according to a police official.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer S Murali Mohan of Kothapeta said that a group of four students were swimming in the river in the evening when three were swept away by the strong current. One student managed to survive.
"Three engineering students were swept away by the Godavari River near the Dowleshwaram Barrage," Mohan told
