
Chatra, March 13 Four teenage boys were killed when their motorcycle collided head-on with a car in Chatra district, Jharkhand, police said on Friday.
The accident occurred on the Piparwar-Tandwa Road in the Chiraiyatand area, they said.
The boys were between 14 and 17 years old, and residents of Baradih village, they added.
"The car was coming from Bachra when the accident happened on Thursday night," said Abhay Kumar, the officer in charge of the Piparwar police station.
Three boys died on the spot, while the fourth one succumbed to his injuries on the way to RIMS-Ranchi, police said.
Following the accident, locals blocked the road to demand compensation for the victims' families.
