
Puducherry, April 3 Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Friday to a warm welcome from BJP workers, who chanted slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Jai Shri Ram,' and he began his roadshow in the city ahead of the April 9 elections to the territorial Assembly.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Home Minister A Namassivayam, began his roadshow near the Ajanta signal point, and it is scheduled to end near the Kamarajar statue/Raja theatre signal, which is less than 2 km away.
Cultural performances and traditional dance programmes added vibrancy and excitement to the Prime Minister's roadshow in Puducherry.
