
Puducherry, April 3 Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Friday to a warm welcome from BJP workers, accompanied by chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Jai Shri Ram," as he began his roadshow in the city in preparation for the April 9 elections to the territorial assembly.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Home Minister A Namassivayam, held his roadshow between the Ajanta signal point and the Kamarajar statue/Raja theatre signal, a distance of less than 2 km.
Cultural performances and traditional dance programs added vibrancy and excitement to the Prime Minister's roadshow in Puducherry.
