Puducherry, April 1 Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Puducherry on April 3 to hold a roadshow, aimed at galvanizing support for the NDA candidates ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

A spokesperson for the Puducherry BJP, a constituent of the AINRC-led NDA, said the Prime Minister would participate in the 2-km long roadshow, starting from the Ajanta signal here to Anna square in Odian Salai.

Modi is expected to land at the airport here from Chennai at 4 pm on April 3. He will drive to Puducherry town from the airport and hold the roadshow.

The Prime Minister will campaign for the NDA, which includes AINRC, BJP, AIADMK, and LJK.

Detailed security arrangements are being made along the S V Patel Salai and Anna Salai stretch.

Personnel from the Police, Electricity, Local Administration, and PWD are on-site managing logistics, officials said.
