Social activist Rouble Nagi visits LoC village Amrohi in Karnah, distributes relief kits and announces expansion of skill, art and digital learning centres to empower youth and women

February 24, Karnah: Globally recognised social activist and founder of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, Rouble Nagi, visited the LoC village of Amrohi in Tangdhar with the support of the Indian Army. During her visit, she distributed blanket kits among needy families and interacted with local students.

Emphasising the urgent need to combat the growing drug menace among youth, she announced plans to expand skill development, art and digital learning centres across villages along the Line of Control to empower women and young people through constructive engagement.

Currently, two centres are already functional in Tangdhar, while new computer learning facilities will soon be established in Amrohi and Jabdi. The initiative aims to provide modern education and skill-based training opportunities to border area youth.

Rouble Nagi appreciated the vision of the General Officer Commanding Kupwara Division for actively engaging youth through education, skill development and constructive initiatives across Kashmir. She also lauded the joint efforts of the Indian Army and Civil Administration in promoting border area tourism and extended full support of her foundation for the promotion of border and battlefield tourism.
