New Delhi, March 4 Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is likely to file his nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections in Patna on Thursday, according to sources, indicating that the state may get a new chief minister.
The president of the JD(U) is likely to file his nomination along with BJP national president Nitin Nabin in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, they said. Filing of nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections will close on Thursday.
"The president of the JD(U), Nitish Kumar, and the national president of the BJP, Nitin Nabin, will file their nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections on Thursday. Home Minister Amit Shah will be present at the event," a source in the NDA told
