
Tirupati, March 11 TTD has allocated approximately ₹119 crore for the development of educational institutions run by it, for the financial year 2026-27.
The allocation aims to introduce modern technology, improve infrastructure, and provide skill development training to enhance the capabilities of students across the temple body's educational institutions.
"TTD has allocated ₹118.89 crore for development works in TTD-run educational institutions for FY 2026-27," a press release issued by the temple body on Wednesday said.
The funds have been allocated jointly by the SV Vidyadanam Trust and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to modernize educational institutions and provide better facilities to students.
Additional classrooms and hostel accommodation will be constructed, while various infrastructure development works will be undertaken in schools and colleges run by TTD.
The temple body said that sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities will be encouraged to ensure the overall development of students.
Training programmes will also be conducted for teaching and non-teaching staff in TTD-run educational institutions.
Courses aimed at preparing students for competitive examinations such as IIT, NEET, CA, and CLAT will be introduced along with skill development and job-oriented vocational programmes, the release added.
The temple body further said that digital classrooms, computers, smart display boards, computer laboratories, and virtual conference facilities will be established to promote technology-driven education.
Modern CCTV cameras will also be installed in educational institutions, while mobile medical unit services will be provided to students.
Special attention will be given to medical services for girl students studying in Sri Padmavathi Women's (SPW) Educational Institutions, including SPW Junior College, SPW Degree College, and Polytechnic College.
Comprehensive plans are being prepared to further strengthen the TTD Education Department with modern facilities, the release added.
