New Delhi, April 9 – Real estate firm Dalcore announced on Thursday that it will invest ₹500 crore to develop a luxury housing project in Gurugram, in partnership with the global design and lifestyle brand YOO.
Founded by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox in 1999, London-based YOO has completed over 85 projects in 36 countries.
The "Falcon" project, spread across a 2-acre land parcel, will have a 5-lakh sq ft area and include 96 units, including 93 apartments and 3 penthouses.
Dalcore launched this branded residential project, located on Golf Course Road, in the presence of Starck.
Dalcore is a real estate firm of the Gujarat-based Shreeram Group, which is involved in the manufacturing and export of industrial and edible salts.
"We will invest ₹500 crore to develop this project, which will consist of a single tower, the tallest on Golf Course Road, with a height of 165 meters," said Dalcore MD Sidharth Chowdhry to reporters.
Apartments are expected to be priced at ₹10 crore and above.
"We are introducing North India's first YOO-branded residences. This project reflects our commitment to bringing globally celebrated design philosophies to India's most discerning homebuyers," he said. Inspired by Starck's design vision and UHA's architectural expertise, Chowdhry said this project will offer a "curated living experience rooted in design, innovation, and long-term value."
Dalcore expects a total revenue of ₹1,450 crore from this project, he said.
Starck's work spans across various domains, including furniture, electric bikes, and architecture.
This is the first project of Dalcore.
YOO has completed 6-7 projects so far in India, and more are in the pipeline.
Shalin Raina, Managing Director, Residential Services, Cushman & Wakefield, said, "Branded residences are gaining traction within India's premium residential landscape, supported by evolving buyer preferences."
Real estate consultant Cushman & Wakefield is the strategic marketing partner for this project.
