
March 11, New Delhi — The Kremlin stated on Wednesday that Russia is maintaining close contact with Iran's leadership and is prepared to assist in efforts to stabilize the Middle East.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized Moscow's commitment to supporting peace initiatives in the region.
In recent days, President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have engaged in talks with their Iranian counterparts.
Furthermore, Putin also held a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, highlighting Russia's active diplomatic outreach.
