Los Angeles, April 3 Hollywood star Ryan Gosling has reportedly exited the upcoming film directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

The actor was slated to appear in the Universal Pictures film, which is described as "sci-fi action comedy" and is set to release on November 19, 2027.

According to the entertainment news outlet Deadline, the actor is no longer part of the project as it was unable to move forward with its planned release date. This made it impossible to finalize scheduling and reach an agreement with the studio and Gosling.

The film is the follow-up to "Everything Everywhere All at Once", the 2022 critical and commercial phenomenon from the filmmakers, which earned over USD 100 million at the box office and won seven Oscars, including best picture, best director, best actor (for Michelle Yeoh), and best original screenplay.

Kwan and Scheinert, collectively known as Daniels, made their feature debut with 2016's "Swiss Army Man", a fantasy comedy starring Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe.

They will produce the film along with their longtime producing partner Jonathan Wang through Playgrounds banner, which operates under an overall deal with Universal.

Gosling's latest work is "Project Hail Mary", which was released on March 26. The film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. It has already grossed USD 300 million at the global box office.
