Mumbai, February 26 – Playback singer Darshan Raval, who has released his new love song “Saathiya”, has shared his reasons for starting 2026 with a romantic track.
The song, sung and composed by Darshan, also features him as the lyricist. The music was produced by Anmol Daniel. “Saathiya” is a celebration of love, set to a soothing and comforting melody, perfect for enjoying with your partner on a cozy evening.
Speaking about the song, Darshan said, “Starting 2026 with ‘Saathiya’ felt natural to me. I have been surrounded by so much love, and this song is my way of expressing those emotions in a pure and meaningful way. I hope that ‘Saathiya’ brings joy to everyone, just as I have enjoyed creating it.”
What makes “Saathiya” special is Darshan’s soulful vocals and soothing music, which perfectly complement the emotive lyrics. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, Darshan performed the first rendition of “Saathiya” at a concert in Vadodara, stating that the song’s journey began that night! And for Darshan’s fans, “Saathiya” is a song that captures the feeling of being in love - and, honestly, the season of love has begun again.

Darshan gained national recognition after finishing as the first runner-up on India’s Raw Star (2014).
