March 14, New Delhi: World number one Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the Indian Wells Open final with a straight-set victory over Linda Noskova.
Sabalenka will face Elena Rybakina in Sunday's final, setting up a rematch of their Australian Open title clash. Sabalenka has won 16 of her first 17 matches this season, with her only defeat coming against Rybakina in Melbourne.
Sabalenka will compete for the Indian Wells crown for the third time in four years, seeking her first title in the Californian desert.
Twice Grand Slam champion Rybakina overcame Elina Svitolina in a tough match to stay on track for a second Indian Wells title. Sunday's final will mark the third meeting between Rybakina and Sabalenka in the last six months.
Rybakina has won their previous two encounters, lifting the WTA Finals trophy in November and the Australian Open title in January. The championship match is scheduled for Sunday.
