Thiruvananthapuram, March 18 CPI state secretary Binoy Viswam has asserted that the Sabarimala gold theft scandal will backfire on the Congress-led UDF and BJP, shielding the ruling LDF from any electoral fallout in the upcoming polls in Kerala.
