The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully coordinated the return of the wanted fugitive, Sahil Chauhan, from Thailand. He was being sought by the Haryana Police in multiple criminal cases involving murder, attempted murder, robbery, and the use of illegal firearms. The CBI stated that Sahil is a key member of the Bhuppi Rana gang, which operates in the areas of Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh. The Agency also said that, at the request of the Haryana Police and the Narcotics Control Bureau, a Red Notice was issued against Sahil. He arrived at Delhi International Airport yesterday, where he was taken into custody by a team from the Haryana Police. More than 150 wanted criminals have been brought back in the last few years through coordination via INTERPOL channels.
