April 02, New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has achieved its highest-ever performance in the fiscal year 2025-26, setting new records in both production and sales.
The company achieved record sales of 20.14 million tonnes, representing a 11.5 per cent growth over the previous year. Its production of crude steel also reached an all-time high of 19.43 million tonnes.
SAIL reported strong gains in exports and increased supplies to Indian Railways, reflecting improved operational efficiency and a growing global presence.
This performance highlights the company's continued focus on capacity utilization, efficiency, and market expansion, further solidifying its position as a key player in India's steel sector.
