
Bhiwani, March 31 Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said on Tuesday that the Congress failed to implement its election promises, while the BJP government has been delivering on its commitments in a transparent and time-bound manner.
Addressing the 'Unnat Sinchai Utsav-2026' in Tosham of Bhiwani district, Saini said that 60 out of the 217 promises made by the BJP have already been fulfilled, while work on the remaining is in progress.
He said there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG in the state and accused the opposition of misleading the people.
He added that adequate stocks are available at fuel pumps and LPG agencies.
The chief minister announced that 2,500 patwaris (revenue officials) will be deployed soon to strengthen the revenue system.
He also said that an e-Bhoomi portal for setting up an Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Tosham will be opened shortly for voluntary land registration by farmers.
Highlighting farmer welfare, Saini said that all 24 crops are being procured at the minimum support price (MSP), and that Rs 1.64 lakh crore has been transferred directly to the accounts of about 12 lakh farmers.
He said that mustard procurement has begun, while wheat procurement will start from April 1.
Saini said that development works are being carried out across the state and assured that no stone will be left unturned for the progress of the Bhiwani region.
He also said that several irrigation and infrastructure projects worth over Rs 100 crore were inaugurated or launched during the event.
