A commendable community initiative called “Ram Rasoi” has been launched in the Sainik Colony area of Jammu by the Shri Ram Leela Club. The initiative aims to support underprivileged families while raising awareness about the careful and judicious use of LPG gas.
Operating as a community kitchen, the initiative provides meals to those in need using traditional cooking methods like chulhas, thereby promoting reduced reliance on LPG and encouraging the use of alternative resources. This effort highlights the importance of responsible consumption and sustainable practices.
This initiative comes at a time when the Government of India is focusing on ensuring a smooth supply and efficient management of essential resources, alongside encouraging public awareness and cooperation.
“Ram Rasoi” not only provides support to those in need but also conveys a strong message of unity, social responsibility, and collective effort. It demonstrates how community-driven initiatives can effectively complement administrative measures in resource management.
Local residents have widely appreciated this effort, describing it as a symbol of service, social harmony, and responsible citizenship.
