SAMBA, APRIL 06: District Development Commissioner Ayushi Sudan chaired a meeting to review the progress of the Vibrant Village Programme-II in Samba.

The DC instructed village nodal officers to regularly monitor their assigned villages, ensuring complete implementation of social security schemes, safe drinking water, health screenings, the "TB Mukt Bharat" initiative, and the development of Model Anganwadis and Panchayat Bhawans. She emphasized livelihood initiatives, including high-density plantations, dragon fruit and strawberry cultivation, and Mission Yuva projects, along with the convergence of government schemes to address local needs.

The DDC also reviewed Urban Local Bodies, directing the completion of PMAY-U Phase-I houses within a month, organizing awareness camps under PMAY-U 2.0 and PM-Savanidhi, and improving urban cleanliness and building permits.

The meeting was attended by CPO, ACR, SDMs, nodal officers, and ULB heads.
