Hyderabad, April 11 In a major operation against encroachment of government land, the Telangana government's HYDRAA reclaimed 861 acres of government land worth approximately Rs 15,000 crore in the Sangareddy district on Saturday, officials said.
The operation to remove encroachments was conducted in Ameenpur by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), along with officials from the revenue, municipal, and police departments, with a heavy police presence, according to an official release.
The officials demolished a six-story apartment building, as well as a swimming pool and a guest house.
