
Kathmandu, February 27 A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Sankhuwasabha district in Nepal on Friday.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage caused by the quake.
The earthquake struck at 3:18 am on Friday, with its epicenter located near Topke Gola, near the border between Sankhuwasabha and Taplejung, approximately 400 km east of Kathmandu, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre (NEMRC).
The tremor was also felt in neighboring districts, including Bhojpur, Panchthar, and Tehrathum.
