Assam CM backs AGP leaders at nomination rallies
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma campaigned in Golaghat today in support of senior AGP leader Keshab Mahanta and AGP president Atul Bora, both of whom filed their nomination papers on the last day of nominations. He urged voters to support NDA candidates in the interest of development.
A large public meeting was organized ahead of the nominations, followed by a large procession. Apart from accompanying the AGP-BJP alliance candidate from Kaliabor, Keshab Mahanta, the chief minister also accompanied Atul Bora of the Asom Gana Parishad as he filed his nomination today for the 2026 Assam elections from the Bokakhat constituency in Golaghat district.
