Thiruvananthapuram, March 16 Kerala Forest Minister A K Saseendran will contest in the upcoming state assembly election as a candidate for the LDF (Left Democratic Front), and the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) announced its candidate list for three constituencies on Monday.
Saseendran, representing the NCP (SP), will contest from his current seat in Elathur, Kozhikode district.
Similarly, sitting MLA Thomas K Thomas will contest from Kuttanad.
K T Mujeeb will contest from the Malappuram constituency.
Although some party leaders have raised objections to fielding Saseendran, the election campaign began in the evening, according to party sources.
