
Thiruvananthapuram, March 2 The Kerala government announced scholarships for students in higher secondary education who achieve high scores in Malayalam, with the aim of promoting the mother tongue among children.
Education Minister V Sivankutty stated that the scholarships would be awarded to students who obtained high scores in Malayalam in the Class 10 examination and have chosen to study Malayalam as a second language at the higher secondary level.
Further details regarding eligibility criteria and application procedures will be released through a circular by the Director of General Education, he added.
