Thane, March 16 An empty school van was completely destroyed in a fire at the parking area of a private school in Thane district on Monday, officials said, adding that no one was injured in the incident.
The school is located on the Diva-Agasan Road.
After receiving information about the fire, firefighters rushed to the scene with a rescue vehicle. The fire was brought under control and completely extinguished at 5:45 PM, an official said.
No one was injured in the incident as the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the incident, he added.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
