SAMBA, MARCH 18: A seven-day scientific beekeeping training program, under the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM), was inaugurated at the DC office, Nandini Hills, Samba, by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ajay Bharti, in the presence of Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Rakesh Khajuria and KVK Head Dr. Sanjay Khajuria.
The program trained 25 beekeepers, farmers, and entrepreneurs in hive management, colony care, and scientific beekeeping techniques. Officials highlighted apiculture's potential to boost farmers' income and promoted the adoption of modern, sustainable practices for profitable beekeeping.
