Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu announced that the Railway Board has ordered the transfer of seven railway stations from the East Coast Railway Zone to the South Coast Railway Zone (SCR), headquartered in Visakhapatnam. He made this announcement on social media, stating that these stations are located between Ichchapuram and Palasa, which fall under the Khurda Division. On behalf of the people of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the Railway Board for considering their request and issuing the necessary orders.
