POONCH, March 16: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik, chaired a meeting of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Committee on Monday to review and verify cases related to relief and rehabilitation under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF).
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held to examine relief claims in strict compliance with SDRF guidelines. Following thorough scrutiny, a total of twelve cases were approved for financial assistance.
The ADC emphasized the need for transparency, accuracy, and accountability in the verification process to ensure that deserving beneficiaries receive timely support. He also highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts among departments to improve efficiency and expedite the delivery of relief to affected individuals.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Sayeed, Account Officer DC Office Poonch Akshay Sharma, Tehsildar Haveli Azhar Majid, Tehsildar Mendhar Rahul Basotra, Tehsildar Mandi Ashfaq Hussain, Tehsildar Surankote Mohammad Akbar, along with other concerned officers.
