Puducherry, March 20 AINRC and BJP reached an agreement on seat-sharing for the upcoming Assembly elections in the union territory on Friday.
A single-phase polling for 30 seats in the union territory is scheduled for April 9.
Puducherry Chief Minister and AINRC leader N Rangasamy held talks with BJP leader and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at a private hotel here.
According to the agreement, AINRC will contest 16 seats and BJP the remaining 14 seats.
