
Gurugram, March 25 Gurugram Police launched a security check after a private school in the city received a hoax bomb threat via email on Wednesday, according to police.
During the inspection, no suspicious items were found, the police said.
According to the police, upon receiving information, a team from DLF Phase 1 police station, the dog squad, the bomb disposal squad, and other special teams rushed to the spot and thoroughly checked the school premises, classrooms, buildings, and the surrounding area.
So far, the investigation has not revealed any suspicious objects or explosive materials. The police teams have declared the entire premises secure, they added.
"The Gurugram Police are currently seriously investigating the entire matter and taking necessary action to identify the source and sender of the email," a spokesperson for the Gurugram police said.
