Chandigarh, February 27 Two private schools in Chandigarh received bomb threat emails on Friday, prompting authorities to conduct anti-sabotage checks, officials said.

Firefighters, bomb disposal squads, police dogs, and an ambulance were dispatched to the schools, and security was increased on the premises.

Similar threats have been made in recent weeks at schools in Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, and Haryana. All of these threats turned out to be hoaxes.
