Imphal, February 25 Five militants from different groups were arrested in Manipur, police said on Wednesday.
Three members of the People's Liberation Army and one member of PREPAK (PRO) were apprehended near the Yangoubung village, close to the Myanmar border, in the Tengnoupal district on Tuesday, they said.
A member of PREPAK was also apprehended in Thoubal Haokha Mamang in the Thoubal district, they added.
In another operation, arms and ammunition were recovered from Nungai Hill in the Imphal East district, police said.
These included a homemade rifle, a 9mm pistol, a hand grenade, and five .303 bullets, they said.
